 Tamron macro lenses for Nikon SLR cameras : Tamron announces two additional lenses with a Built-in Motor for Nikon, the Tamron AF 28-300mm F/3,5-6,3 XR Di VC LD Aspherical [IF] MACRO lens and the Tamron SP AF 28-75mm F/2,8 XR Di LD Aspherical [IF] MACRO (Model A09NII) lens. Di lenses are designed for superior use with digital SLR cameras (APS-C and full-size format) and conventional cameras. The AF 28-300mm VC Macro lens is the first stabilized lens from Tamron incorporating Tamrons proprietary technology called VC -Vibration Compensation. When mounted on a DSLR with an APS-C sized imager, the lens covers a 43mm wide angle to 465mm equivalent ultra telephoto.

Tamron tele-mega zoom macro lens with image stabilizer
The tele-mega zoom offers flexibility in hand-held photography enabling a correction effect of up to 4 stops. The 28-300mm at the top of the mega zoom class has a MFD of 0,49m enabling a Max. Magnification Ratio of 1:3 and thus respectable macro capability at a focal length of 300 mm.

The initial deliveries of the eagerly awaited Nikon version are scheduled to begin. The lens features a „built-in“ motor right from the start, in order to accommodate users of new Nikon cameras which require a „built-in“ motor such as the Nikon D40. The lens is already available with Canon mount. No other mounts are planned.

It is not without reason that this „Super Performance“ lens has been distinguished with many awards worldwide. The most compact fast standard lens of its class is now available with a „built-in“ motor in order to also serve users of new Nikon cameras which require a „built-in“ such as the Nikon D40. The new version (Model A09NII) replaces the previous version (Model A09N). The lens is also available for Canon AF, Sony AF-D and Pentax AF.
