 GE G1 digital camera : General Electric Co. (GE), one of the world’s largest and most admired companies, launched a new digital camera range, marking its entry into the UK and European consumer electronics markets. One of these new GE digital cameras is the G1. Just 3 5/8 inch wide and 2.5 inches tall, the General Electric G1 is the most compact camera we make. But even though it's small, it's not short on performance. Engineered into its compact body is a whole host of features. A 7 Megapixel resolution ensures crisp, clear pictures. A 3x optical zoom and a 4.5x digital zoom capture superior close-ups. And a vibrant 2.5" LCD screen makes it easy to set up your snapshots and review them afterward.

GE G1 - Easy to use camera
Speaking at the launch, European Director Gary Banks said: “Our digital cameras represent an extension of GE’s 128-year heritage of leadership in technology and innovation. Our research and development team in Tokyo have done a magnificent job to ensure the consumer will get intuitive, easy to use cameras, like the GE G1, which offers advanced features in a slim body styling.”
GE G1 - Red-Eye removal
A simple, intuitive interface makes it easy to select between features like In-Camera Panorama Stitching, Red-Eye Removal and MPEG-4 movie recording. Electronic Image Stabilization and Face Detection are built right in. And a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery is included, as well as an SD / SDHC memory card slot, expandable up to an amazing 4GB.
General Imaging G1 - Colors
Compare the GE G-1 to other trim line point-and-shoot cameras and you'll discover just how much value we've packed into this slim, stylish package. The GE G1 will be available in the colors Black, Silver and Red. Alongside black, silver and red, a rainbow of colors is planned including pinks, purples, yellow and green.
