“With the new Coolpix line, Nikon is offering consumers a choice of cameras that are sleek and beautiful enough to carry everywhere, yet powerful enough to take great pictures,” said Martina Beckmann, Manager Communication & Marketing for Nikon Europe BV. “Whether you choose an affordable L-Series, a stylish S-Series or the performance-oriented Nikon P60, there is a Coolpix camera to suit everyone.”

Nikon Coolpix P60 - Performance Series
The Nikon Coolpix P60 is a compact digital still camera designed for performance. The Nikon P60 is designed to appeal to camera aficionados with its comfortable handgrip and traditional black colour. It boasts an 8.1 megapixel resolution, a 5x zoom lens and a 2.5-inch LCD screen with electronic viewfinder in a traditionally styled, yet compact and lightweight camera body. Its satisfying grip, powerful zoom lens and advanced features make the Nikon P60 a great choice for people who want to take outstanding pictures with a compact camera. The Coolpix P60’s Nikkor lens has a focal length of 6.4-32mm, equivalent to 36mm-180mm in the 35mm format, and provides both close-up and telephoto capability. Nikon’s VR image stabilisation technology reduces blur from camera shake, and the camera’s easy-to-use mode dial makes it simple to switch between manual and auto modes.
