Digitalreview.caNikon D300 test photos at Digital Review Canada : Our good friends from the Canadian based website DigitalReview.ca have posted their Nikon D300 test photo gallery. The new Nikon D300 is a 12.3 megapixel digital SLR camera and features a speedy 6 fps frame advance, self-cleaning sensor unit and high definition 3-inch VGA monitor. The Nikon D300 camera has a broad ISO range from 200-3200 plus Lo 1 (the equivalent of an ISO 100) and Hi (ISO 6400 equivalent). The new 51-Point Autofocus system enables tracking subjects by their colour, while enhancing the accuracy of exposure and white balance metering. Digital Review Canada used two lenses (18-70 mm zoom and 50 mm f/1.8) with for the Nikon D300 test photo gallery.

According to our friend Jonas from DigitalReview.ca: "To highlight the great versatility and system compatibility of the Nikon D300 digital SLR camera, we decided to see how the Nikon D300 performs with the legacy Manual Focus Nikkor 45mm F/2.8P lens, which has an excellent reputation for sharpness and overall image quality. The Nikkor 45mm F/2.8P lens was originally designed as a very compact standard lens (only 17mm thin) to complement the Nikon FM3A, 35mm film camera."

Jonas continues: "A host of new Nikon technologies have been implemented in the Nikon D300 including; a newly developed 12.3 effective megapixel DX-format CMOS image sensor with up to 3200 ISO sensitivity (+ Hi1 6400), a new precision 51-point AF system, a large 3.0-inch high resolution 920,000 pixel LCD information display supporting Live View Mode. In our opinion the D300 is a real joy to use and delivers the performance professional's and serious prosumers demand.” You want to learn more about the new Nikon D300 DSLR?
