The user has complete real-time dynamic control over focus during operation with the software GUI supplied with the camera, or set in the auto focus mode for completely automatic focus. Varioptic’s liquid lens features some crucial commercial advantages over traditional technologies in terms of cost, size, robustness, power consumption and speed. The IVIN 2M USB 2.0 can be used in several applications such as biometrics (excluding iris identification), surveillance, security systems, vision applications and general imaging systems. “We are delighted to work with IVA Corporation’’, said Christian Dupont, CEO of Varioptic.
