Supplied as standard with the DSLR Sony Alpha 700 P kit, this new standard zoom offers a 35mm equivalent focal range of 24-157.5mm Designed specifically for optimum performance with APS-C type sensors, this versatile standard zoom delivers high image quality at all focal lengths from very wide angle to medium telephoto.
Sony Alpha A700 - DT 16-105mm F3.5-5.6 lens
The extremely compact design incorporates one ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass lens element plus two glass aspherical lens elements to suppress chromatic aberration and assure excellent contrast across the zoom range. 3-step lens barrel technology enables a compact, lightweight lens design with a 6.6x magnification range.

Sony Alpha 700 - 70-300mm F4.5-5.6G SSM lens
Currently in development, a new G-Series telephoto zoom lens offers a 35mm equivalent focal range of 105–450mm. High-grade G-Series optics are complemented by an extremely quiet, responsive SSM (Super Sonic wave Motor) drive system for fast, accurate autofocus. With superb contrast across the entire zoom range and a minimum focusing distance of only 1.2m, it’s equally suited to portraits and sports photography.
