 Samsung CLP-660 series color laser printers : Samsung Electronics, the world’s second largest laser printer manufacturer, unveils its new triathlon of color laser printers, the CLP 660 series; Samsung CLP-610ND, Samsung CLP-660N and Samsung CLP-660ND color laser printers. The launch of this new color laser printer series follows Samsungs’ achieving a second-place ranking in the global color laser printer market (IDC, 2007 1Q), with its world’s smallest color laser printer CLP-300 for personal users and the CLP-350N for SMB office users. To build on this momentum, Samsung is moving to bolster its market standing with the Samsung color laser CLP-660 series, representing high quality, high speed and high economical efficiency.

Samsung’s new line of business color laser printers consists of three different models: the CLP-660N/ND with a fast printing speed of 24ppm and the CLP-610ND with a printing speed of 20ppm. Targeting medium and large businesses that frequently use color printers, the CLP-660 series provides built-in network and duplex printing features, and supports both GDI and PCL emulations for business user’s utmost convenience. In addition, this series offers about twice higher maximum duty cycle, up to 100,000 pages, than other products in its class.

Along with its high-performance capability, the Samsung CLP-660 series assures an optimal TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) for the most cost-efficient operation. The new color laser printers boast competitive CPP (Cost per Page), among competitors in their class, as well as the improved toner yield of 5,500 pages in mono and 5,000 pages in color.
