The Samsung HD camcorder has been carefully designed to fit comfortably into the user’s hand without sacrificing style. The unique Swivel grip - able to rotate an amazing 135 degrees - provides an easy way for consumers not only to hold the camcorder but also to shoot video at very low or high angles. The Samsung VP-DX10 is a hybrid DVD-flash memory camcorder, combining 4 GB (1 hour recording) internal capacity, Quick Start functionality and DVD-burning capabilities, enabling users to burn video files directly onto a DVD at the push of a button.

The zoom extends to 26x optical and features the same touch screen technology as the VP-HMX10C (also announced today). By adopting 3D Noise Reduction Filter technology and Hyper Image Stabilizer functionality, the Samsung VP-DX10 camcorder creates realistic, high-quality images, offering an effective image stabilizer tool to offset unwanted hand movements during recording. This innovative new Samsung camcorder is also capable of transferring footage from flash memory to DVD utilizing the device’s own battery power, without the need for a hardwire power connection. It also offers PC compatibility, which gives users greater ability for UCC creation. The Samsung VP-DX10 HD camcorder will be available in the 3rd quarter of 2007.
