NikonNikon Coolpix S700 : The new Nikon Coolpix Style series includes some of the world’s fastest and smallest high-megapixel cameras in it’s class. The Style-series is designed to take great pictures - and look great while doing so. One reason that consumers will want to pull the Style-series camera out of their purse or pocket is Nikon’s face detection feature, which is faster than ever and can now detect up to 12 faces. This face priority autofocus, available on the Nikon Coolpix S700 camera, finds a face swiftly when detected within the frames shot, measures the brightness of the person’s face and determines the best exposure. The Nikon Coolpix S700 digital compact camera is priced at a suggested €349.

Nikon’s face-detection technology helps ensure that images of friends, family and team mates come out crisp and clear every time. Nikon S700, flagship of the Style-series, boasts the world’s smallest, high response camera body featuring a full 12.1 Megapixels of resolution. Available in silver and urban black with a high quality metal body, the Nikon Coolpix S700 digital camera measures an extremely compact 89x54x23 mm and weighs just 130 grams (without battery or memory card).

Yet the camera boasts a full 12.1 Megapixels of resolution, a large 2.7-inch LCD monitor with acrylic panel to minimize fingerprints and scratches, and an optical 3x 37- 111mm (35mm equivalent) Zoom-NIKKOR lens with Nikon’s Vibration Reduction technology for photographing everything from portraits to action packed sport events.

The new Nikon S700 is also one of the world’s fastest responding digital camera; it has a start-up time of just 0.9 sec, along with one of the fastest shutter release time lag, an imperceptible 0.005 seconds. An easy to use rotary multi-selector dial makes operating the camera a snap. Same as all other new Coolpix models the Nikon Coolpix S700 boasts an innovative EXPEED digital image processing concept, which enables fast response and high-quality images. The camera is highly light sensitive, up to ISO 3200, for outstanding results even in low light conditions. The Nikon Coolpix S700 comes with Nikon’s Software Suite CD-ROM, an AV/USB Cable, Dock Insert, camera strap, rechargeable Li-ion battery and charger.
