AverMediaAVerVision video contest : AVerMedia Technologies, Inc., the leading provider of digital multimedia and presentation technology, announced the AVerVision Video Contest for North American K-12 and Higher-Ed classrooms. Teachers, administrators, or students are asked to create a 10-20 minute video describing original and interesting classroom lessons and applications with their document camera. Classes without a document camera can submit a video describing the difficulty of using traditional presentation technology in the classroom. Four new AVerVision document cameras will be awarded, one to each of the third, second, first and Grand Prize winners. The contest will officially be open between September 1, 2007 and November 15, 2007.
Classroom video contest
Winners of the video contest will be chosen and announced by December 15, 2007. The video itself should be no longer than 20 minutes, and must showcase classroom applications and lessons using a document camera, or the difficulty of using traditional presentation technologies. Only one video per classroom will be accepted, and it must be submitted on a CD or DVD, and mailed to AVerMedia Technologies in Milpitas, CA.
