OlympusOlympus voice recorders : The Olympus WS-110 and WS-210S digital voice recorders are the perfect companion for those on the move, offering wide-ranging versatility in a pocket-size format. Besides their ability to record notes, interviews and meetings in high quality, they also store other data formats. The transfer of such files onto these recorders is child’s play, and a USB interface ensures connection to the computer is trouble-free. So, whether you’re travelling between meetings, lectures, college or home, files such as presentations, images or music can be taken with you! Intuitively-located buttons and a large LCD ensure that operation is simple, and you can even listen to your recordings via the integrated speaker.
Olympus WS110 & WS210S voice recorder
The Olympus WS-110 and WS-210S provide users with remarkable freedom thanks to their ability to function as USB mass storage devices. Upon connection to a computer, they are immediately recognised as external drives. No software, drivers or special cables are required. This simplicity ensures that even technical novices will not only be archiving their recorded voice files on a computer, but will also be uploading other data to their recorder in no time at all.

Olympus digital voice recorders - 256 MB & 512MB
With a choice between 256MB (WS-110) and 512MB (WS-210S) memory capacities, up to 69 and 138 hours, respectively, of voice recordings can be stored by these models. While the WS-110 features three recording modes so that the optimal balance between recording length and quality can be selected, the WS-210S incorporates a further three modes that enables stereo recording. Boosting sound quality on both models is a voice filter which enhances the frequency range of the human voice whilst a low-cut filter ensures any background sound is significantly reduced. Five separate folders and the indexing function make it easy to manage files and variable playback speeds enable users to listen to recordings at the pace of their choice.

Olympus voice recorders - Availability

Boxed with stereo headphones, an AAA battery and USB extension cable, the Olympus WS-110 and WS-210S will be available from September 2007.
