Roland photo printer : Roland Advanced Solutions Division (ASD) introduced the new Roland MPX 80 Photo Impact Printer. The new desktop device offers unprecedented personalization capabilities for jewelry stores, gift shops and photography studios. As Roland’s fourth-generation Photo Impact Printer, the Roland MPX 80 printer can personalize both flat and curved giftware like pens, cuff links and money clips. A new center vise helps keep these items secure during production. The Roland MPX 80 printer also has a new vector print mode for producing beautiful graphics, fonts, and crisp logos. This new feature lets users create interesting visual effects by mixing vector designs with photos.

Roland MPX 80 printer
“The Roland MPX 80 printer is a versatile and portable gift engraver,” said Rick Rivera, Roland ASD application specialist. “It adds instant value to a wide range of gifts and jewelry, turning them into one-of-a-kind mementos.” The Roland MPX 80 printer joins the popular Roland MPX-70 printer, which personalizes flat items like pendants, dog tags, key chains and charms. Both use an advanced carbide-tipped stylus to permanently imprint text and images into acrylic, aluminum, stainless steel, brass, gold, silver, platinum and metallic stickers.
Roland MPX 80 printer - Roland MPX 70 cartridge
The Roland MPX 80 printer and Roland MPX 70 cartridge has nine ultra-hard tips that produce brilliant, photo-realistic graphics. Included head management software indicates when a new tip is needed and automatically changes it. When the cartridge finally goes through all of its “nine lives,” it easily swaps out with another.
