GeneralPeerMe One-Click photo upload tool : Voice communications technology company PeerMe launched its One-Click Photo Upload tool. This feature, which is part of PeerMe’s Java version, allows users to instantly transfer pictures taken on their wireless phones directly to their Facebook pages in one easy step. In addition, the tool also features one-click blogging integrated with Twitter. Any other photo or blog sites can integrate with PeerMe’s APIs and offer their users the same type of functionality. PeerMe was named one of the “10 emerging wireless entertainment companies to watch in 2007” by IDC. PeerMe products were not developed with, nor are they endorsed by, Facebook or Twitter.

“We are opening our APIs so that any other company can hook into these PeerMe features and offer one-click photo upload, blogging and other popular features to their user bases. This is the latest step in turning PeerMe into a leading mobile distribution platform for connected applications," says company CEO Tom Lasater. “The Java version of the PeerMe product allows users to continue to enjoy PeerMe when they are on the move. You just need an unlimited data plan and you can use PeerMe to IM with your friends as much as you please. We believe that the one click photo upload and the one click blogging features will be a big hit among our users around the world.”
