CanonCanon CanoScan 8800F image scanner : Canon USA announced a new color image scanner to the industry’s best-selling line-up, the CanoScan 8800F. In the emerging world of digital imaging, consumers desire easy-to-use products like the new Canon 8800F scanner that offers exceptional image quality in a compact and stylish design, making archiving old shoeboxes of photos an enjoyable trip down memory lane. In addition to the stunning image quality that has become synonymous with Canon scanners, speed takes on a whole new meaning with the Canon CanoScan 8800F. The inclusion of seven “EZ Buttons” on the Canon CanoScan 8800F Image Scanner enables consumers to quickly copy, scan, e-mail or create a PDF file with just one push of a button.
Canon CanoScan 8800F - White LED
The Canon CanoScan 8800F Color Image Scanner is the first Canon scanner to come equipped with a high-luminance white LED lamp (instead of a traditional fluorescent lamp). The white LED technology virtually eliminates warm-up time and allows for scanning to begin instantaneously from sleep mode, and be completed three times faster than in previous models. By improving data reading methods, the scan speed at 300dpi (the most common resolution used for reflective scans) is only approximately seven seconds for an 8.5” x 11” color scan.
