CanonWaterproof case from Canon : Bring your holiday photography to new places with a Canon digital camera and waterproof case. Whether you’re planning to snorkel, scuba dive or simply wet your toes, packing a waterproof case is a great way to make sure you capture every special moment of your summer travels. There’s nothing quite like a photo with rare sea creatures or the vibrant colours of tropical coral. Canon waterproof cases are available for most PowerShot and Digital IXUS cameras. And with the Underwater mode on many Canon cameras, you don’t have to be an expert to get great shots. Each waterproof case provides a carefully moulded watertight shell that protects your camera against sand and water up to depths of 40 meters.

Buttons are large and brightly coloured for easy visibility and handling underwater - even if you’re wearing diving gloves. The Canon waterproof cases are also brilliant out of the water - keeping your camera safe in heavy rain, snow, and dusty or humid environments. Now there’s no excuse for missing that perfect photo moment - wherever your travels take you!

Macro Advantage
Compact digital cameras are superior to film cameras in the same class for shooting close-ups in macro mode. While film cameras are subject to parallax on models with different sight lines for the lens and optical viewfinder because the viewfinder field is slightly offset from the actual area captured by the lens, digital cameras eliminate this problem by allowing you to compose with the LCD monitor, which uses the same sight line as the lens. Digital cameras also have more depth of field, making it easier to focus in macro mode.
