Canon at Campus Technology Show : From the classroom to the computer lab, higher education relies on technology to prime tomorrow’s workforce for the tech-savvy world that awaits them. The Canon National Parks Science Scholars Program develops the next generation of scientists in the fields of conservation, environmental science and park management. The program was established in 1997 and expanded in 2002 to include students and national parks throughout the Americas. In addition, the program supports scientists who will learn, discover, invent and create solutions to preserve national parks in the region.
The Canon Envirothon is North America’s largest high school environmental education competition. More than 500,000 teenagers are involved in a year-long learning process that combines in-class curriculum with hands-on field experience.
