 Visioneer Patriot 430 duplex scanner : The Visioneer Patriot 430, a GSA/TAA compliant duplex scanner, has received Buyer’s Laboratory Inc.’s (BLI) “Pick of the Year” award in the entry-level sheet-fed workgroup scanner segment and was also rated as a 'Highly Recommended' scanner for 'offering high reliability, along with excellent ease of setup, superior user maintenance and very good overall productivity.' Visioneer OneTouch technology eliminates multiple steps in sending scanned documents to predetermined applications or devices and provides unmatched ease-of-use in the desktop scanner category. Visioneer OneTouch technology allows users to easily set the “destination” of their scanned documents by pressing a button and selecting one of 9 pre programmed (or user customizable) duplex scan settings. “Destination” examples include scan to searchable PDF, scan to e-mail, scan to print, scan to archive, scan to network, and scan to OCR.

The Patriot 430 scanner incorporates Visioneer OneTouch with Kofax Virtual ReScan (VRS) technology that automatically improves the image quality of faded or degraded original documents at the press of a single button. This technology combines the ease of Visioneer OneTouch scanning, with the superior image enhancement of Kofax VRS software. The Patriot 430 is the only duplex scanner under $600 and designed for government use to include Kofax VRS, which is directly integrated into the OneTouch scanner driver rather than bundled as a separate utility.
