BioScapes Imaging Competition judges announced : Olympus America announced the judges for its fourth annual BioScapes International Digital Imaging Competition. The judges include some of the most widely recognized international researchers in the biomedical field, reflecting the competition's goal of honoring the most striking and significant life science images, image sequences and movies in the world each year. The judges for the competition include Dr. Kenneth Fish, Dr. Douglas Murphy, Janelia Farms, Dr. Jason Swedlow and Dr. Clare M. Waterman-Storer. The Olympus BioScapes International Digital Imaging Competition honors the world’s finest life science images, both still and moving, as captured through light microscopes.

Olympus BioScapes International Digital Imaging Competition
Olympus BioScapes is the world's foremost forum for recognizing life science images captured through light microscopes. Top prize is worth $5,000. Each person entering can enter up to five still images, image sequences, or movies. Any magnification and any brand of equipment can be used; judges are not given equipment/brand information when judging. Deadline for entering the 2007 competition is September 28; winners will be notified in October, and publicly announced in December.
BioScapes Competition
The competition focuses on the amazing life science stories being told through the images, and on the remarkable confluence of science and art. The deadline for entering this year’s competition is September 28, 2007.
