 Audio video navigation Eclipse AVN2210p now shipping : Eclipse, designer and manufacturer of precision audio, video and navigation products, announced it is shipping its award winning AVN2210p units to dealers across the United States. The newest product in Eclipse’s Audio Video Navigation (AVN) suite of products, the Eclipse AVN2210p creates a new in-dash, portable navigation category that combines superior sound quality with TomTom’s premier portable navigation device offering an all-in-one solution for audiophile consumers. “It was important for us to begin shipping in time for the summer driving season and keep our CES promise of delivering our complete installed/PND solution in spring,” said Mike Odle, VP of sales for Eclipse.

The Eclipse AVN2210p has standard Bluetooth connectivity integrated in the unit requiring no other modules. It plays the most popular music program sources: iPod (utilizing a dedicated cable), CD, CD-R/RW, MP3, WMA files and flash memory music utilizing a front access USB port. The unit includes a 5V preamp output for enhanced sound quality and a three-year warranty - both Eclipse brand traditions. The Eclipse AVN2210p has a manufacturers retail price of $849.99 and is available at Circuit City and specialty retail stores nationwide.
