The VRD-MC5 allows PC-Free, One-Touch, dubbing from any one of Sony's HD camcorders (HDR-SR5, HDR-SR7, HDR-SR8, and HDR-CX7 Handycam). The new VRD-MC5 features a 2.5" Color Screen, USB 2.0, and direct recording onto DVD from SD/SDHC, xD Picture Cards, and CompactFlash memory cards. Availability is expected to be August 10, 2007 with an estimated price of $247, ¥30,000.
