NEC MultiSync monitor wins PC world innovation award

 NEC MultiSync 90GX wins PC world innovation award : NEC Display Solutions of America, a provider of innovative LCD displays, professional grade plasmas and projectors, and integrated display solutions, announced that its MultiSync 90GX desktop display has been named one of PC World’s “100 Best Products of 2007.” With the MultiSync LCD2180WG-LED being named one of the top 25 Most Innovative products of 2006, this is the second year in a row that one of NEC’s displays has placed in a PC World’s “Best” list. In their quest for the top technical products of the year, PC World calculates each item’s design, performance, features, and value on a 100-point scale. NEC’s MultiSync 90GX earned an average of 82 points across all categories.

 Optimal gaming experience
“The NEC MultiSync 90GX2 was designed for anyone who enjoys an optimal gaming or multimedia experience,” Andy Anderson, Product Manager for NEC Display Solutions, explains. “Our goal was to create an exceptional desktop display that would improve speed, performance, and graphic presentation for the graphics-focused user. We are thrilled that PC World has chosen to recognize the MultiSync 90GX2 as one of the best products of 2007.” The MultiSync 90GX2 is not the only NEC product to win an award in 2007. NEC also took home Government Computer News’ FOSE “Best of Show” for the MultiSync LCD2690WUXi in March and MacWorld’s “Best of Show” for the MultiSync LCD2690WUXi in January.

Contributing factors included its sleek style, vibrant color picture, and especially its response time of just 4 milliseconds. This faster response time enhances the clarity of video images and animated action which has made the NEC MultiSync 90GX monitor a success in the gaming community.
