Fujifilm Forensic filters
Other forensic filters are often required but are vastly more common and available on the market such as the Yellow 2 (8), Red 25, Orange 16, Orange 21, and IR hot mirror. These filters are often used as barrier filters during UV fluorescing techniques. IR light starts to pass around 655nm just inside the high end of the red light area of the spectrum. UV light exists below 400nm, which means visible is between 400 and 700nm. Filters are often stacked together to isolate specific wave lengths or to view fluoresced light from a target and often in combination with an Alternative Light Source or ALS.
