Steve's DigicamsCanon A570 review at Steves Digicams : Our good friends at Steves Digicams have published their review of the Canon PowerShot A570 IS camera. The Canon PowerShot A570 camera is powered by DIGIC III, which introduces Face Detection Technology, automatic Red-Eye Correction in Playback and ISO 1600 to the PowerShot A-Series for the first time. The PowerShot A570 IS adds an optical Image Stabilizer to the lens, full manual control and a comprehensive range of accessories, giving users the choice to simply ‘point and shoot’ or explore the creative side of photography. The Canon A570 IS further features a 2.5-inch LCD screen. The Canon PowerShot A570IS features Canon’s own DIGIC III image processor.

Canon PowerShot A570 IS - Quality
According to Steve Digicams: "Canon includes a nice 4x lens on this camera that also features their Optical Image Stabilization system. This actually enables you to shoot at shutter speeds 2-3 stops lower than normal, helping reduce the effects of camera shake in your low-light or telephoto shots. The lens offers a broader field of view than seen on your typical consumer model, adding more versatility when composing a shot. While 1x doesn't seem like much, you'll notice that you'll be able to bring your distant subjects up closer and better fill the frame when shooting portraits."

Canon A570 review conclusion - Steves Digicams
Steve continues: "Our indoor and outdoor portrait results were good. While the dedicated Portrait scene mode does well, I also used the Av (Aperture priority) mode. Doing so with the aperture value set as low as possible (usually f/4.5 - f/5.0 at the mid telephoto end of the zoom range) produced nice close-up portraits, showing sharp facial features and natural skin tones. Canon's new Face Detection AF/AE/FE technology seems to work very well, even when there are multiple faces in the frame." You want to learn more about the Nikon Coolpix digital camera? About Steve's Digicams Online
Steve's Digicams was founded in the year 1997, by, indeed, Steve. Steve Sanders is well experienced in photography, 30 years, and wants to share this experience with everyone on the Internet. Steve's motto is: simplicity. The way the website is build makes it also possible for those who haven't got a fast connection to download the website very quickly. In the same way the reviews are being written. According to Steve, it should not be necessary to follow a course in photography to be able to understand a review. For this approach Steve is well known world wide and he is welcome to it by his many readers. Beside test reports Steve's site has various other items, like a forum, camera specifications, daily "breaking" news.
