KingstonIcons of Photography reader questions : Kingston Technology Company, Inc., the independent world leader in memory products, announced it has posted questions submitted by visitors from around the world to its ‘Icons of Photography’ microsite as part of its Ask the Icons of photography interactive feature. Each question was answered by one of Kingston’s four Icon photographers: Harry Benson, Colin Finlay, Gerd Ludwig and Peter Read Miller. Through Ask the Icon, visitors are encouraged to submit questions on any topic to the photographers. “Kingston’s ‘Icons of Photography’ microsite now creates an open dialogue between visitors and the Icons,” said Jaja Lin, Flash marketing manager, Kingston.

Jaja Lin added: “We are encouraged by the response we have received from photographers around the world who are interested in learning more about the Icons and their personal views on photography,” continued Lin. “The ‘Icons of Photography’ program is a great outlet for the exchange of thoughts and ideas between photographers,” said Icon Colin Finlay. “Speaking on behalf of myself and other Kingston Icons, this program gives us the freedom and flexibility to interact with other photographers simply for the love of photography,” added Finlay.

Kingston microsite - Icons of Photography
Consisting of three elements - 20 Questions, Ask the Icon and Critique My Image - Kingston’s microsite offers visitors personal insight in an interactive forum where questions are asked and images are shared with the Icons. The microsite will continue to showcase the latest work produced by each photographer, along with a listing of upcoming projects, lectures and workshops from each Icon. In June, Kingston will publish selected images submitted by visitors, along with individual critiques from the Icons of those images. Photographers who are interested in submitting a question or image for critique should visit the Kingston web site for additional details.
