GeneralSanta Fe workshops chose Hahnemuhle FineArt : The Santa Fe Workshops chose Hahnemuhle FineArt for their wide range and quality of fine art papers. The Santa Fe Workshops offer educational programs to inspire image makers and bring out their passion for photography. In 2007, the Santa Fe Workshops celebrate their 18th year of providing the international image-making community with Winter, Summer, and Fall workshops covering a wide range of topics in black and white and color photography as well as year-round digital imaging programs. They also offer a Fall workshop in San Miquel de Allende as well as an On-the-Road workshop. The workshops focus on theory and applying new skills to projects, both professional and personal.

After using Hahnemuhle paper in their workshops the students tend to favor the following Hahnemuhle papers: FineArt Pearl, Photo Rag Bright White and William Turner. Jerry Courvoisier, Director of the Digital Programs at the Santa Fe Workshops, stated "I'm impressed with the wide selection and quality of the Hahnemuhle digital fine art paper surfaces. Each surface provides an elegant print for presentation. The quality produced from these paper surfaces has taken digital printmaking to a new level. With all of these surfaces to choose from, Hahnemuhle also provides excellent profiles for the ink and paper combinations via the website. This type of customer support has streamlined the workflow for our HP 9180 printer. This attention to detail and support for the printmaking workflow has users producing fine art quality prints right out of the box."

Hahnemuhle digital FineArt collection
2007 also marks the 10th anniversary for the Hahnemuhle Digital FineArt Collection. The starting point was in 1997, when Hahnemuhle FineArt became the first paper mill worldwide to coat mould-made artist's papers for inkjet printing. These fine art papers are produced exclusively at the long-established Hahnemuhle paper mill. All papers are certified and extremely age-resistant. They are ideal for exclusive, artistic photographs, digital artwork and photo and art reproductions. Recently, the bright white FineArt Pearl was awarded the prize as "Best Inkjet Paper" in the reader survey carried out by the Association of British Professional Photographers. The new Photo Rag Pearl has been awarded the TIPA award for "Best Fine Art Inkjet Paper." Hahnemuhle is proud to receive both these independent awards for its unique artist's papers.
