KingstonKingston flash drives awarded : Kingston Technology was awarded best Computer Storage product for its DataTraveler Secure and DataTraveler Secure - Privacy Edition USB Flash drives at AeA’s 14th Annual High-Tech Innovation Awards. The High-Tech Innovation Awards were presented by the Orange County and Inland Empire Council of AeA on the evening of May 10 honoring Southern California’s top innovators. “AeA received a record number of nominations and the level of innovation was truly impressive,” said Tim Jemal, AeA executive director for Orange County and the Inland Empire. “AeA congratulates Kingston and its employees for being selected best Computer Storage Innovation for its Data Traveler Secure product line.”

“Kingston is proud to be recognized by the AeA for our DataTraveler Secure USB Flash drives. With 256-bit AES hardware-based encryption and a titanium-coated casing, our drive features industry-leading protection to safeguard critical data and is also rugged to survive harsh operating conditions,” said Mike Sager, Vice-President, Kingston. The 14th Annual High-Tech Innovation Awards were presented at the Fairmont Hotel in Newport Beach on May 10, 2007. AeA set record levels for nominations and attendance with more than 125 nominations received and 20 innovators recognized. The sold-out dinner and awards ceremony drew nearly 600 luminaries from local high-tech companies, financial and government institutions as well as academic leaders, educators, students, investors and media affiliates.

The awards recognized local companies, individuals and products in the technology field that drive innovation in Orange County and the Inland Empire.
