About Underwater Competition
The UnderwaterCompetition website is jointly hosted by Jason Heller and Eric Cheng from Dive Photo Guide and Wetpixel. The site was created due to the overwhelming popularity of their first international photo competition, which was organized in 2005 in association with the Our World-Underwater show in Chicago. Both Eric and Jason are underwater photographers with a passion for the marine environment and for progressing diving and underwater imagery through new media. Their commitment to the underwater imagery community is to provide the “Superbowl” or “Formula One” of competitions. The competitions offer participants chances to win prizes that range from premium dive travel packages to photo and diving equipment, DVD’s, signed books and more.
