CanonCanon Europe launches corporate advertisement campaign : Canon Europe, world-leader in imaging solutions, has launched a major new pan-European corporate advertising campaign as part of its 50th anniversary celebrations. The ‘We Speak Image’ campaign signifies a strong new direction for Canon and marks its position as the natural choice for consumers and businesses to capitalise on the power of the image. The new corporate campaign embraces the idea of images as a powerful medium for communication and reflects the understanding that pictures are more instantly and universally understood than words. The ad creatives employ powerful and arresting imagery which are visual metaphors for the benefits of Canon products and technologies.

The five executions cover the areas where Canon is relevant to people’s lives: the home (HD video), work (security and productivity), professional (remote working / medical), and the environment (efficiency). The format of the ad uses a frame device to create a visual theme of ‘pictures within a picture’ to bring Canon’s brand proposition to life.

We Speak Image

The Canon advertising campaign will be executed across Europe via a range of media from 1st May, including:

• Large spectacular format ads will run for eight months at six key international airports
• Airports : Heathrow, Madrid, Frankfurt, Paris, Milan and Schipol)
• Print advertising across pan-European business titles (Time, Financial Times, The Economist)
• BBC World sponsorship package (Break bumpers, 30 second spot, Online presence)
