He added, “In Media Markt and Saturn, we have gained two market leaders who can both actively support the introduction of our new printing system and guarantee nationwide distribution.” The new Kodak EasyShare 5300 and 5500 inkjet printers offer ease of use and superb print quality delivered by Kodak’s innovative inks with extremely small pigment particles. Kodak’s pricing concept of these pigment inks offers savings of up to 50% compared to other consumer inkjet printers for all types of printouts. The black ink cartridge will cost € 9.99, the combined color cartridge - containing all colors - will cost €14.99 (RRP). By entering the home inkjet printing market, Kodak addresses precisely the target group with the largest growth potential: Consumers who enjoy printing and would print high volumes, but are frustrated with the current high cost of ink.
