The Exhibition has built up an internationally renowned reputation for its exciting breadth of genres and styles, from the artistic to documentary, from portraiture to natural history and this will be the first time that it will be on display in Eastern Europe. Photography in Ukraine began to flourish in the seventies with its new acceptance as an art form that required passion and vision, and it is with great pleasure that Professor Ralph Jacobson, President of the RPS, will be presenting a Master class on ‘Image quality: a scientists view’ at the Kyiv Photofair on 16th May.

Royal Photographic Society - Special retrospective exhibition
“Over the last 150 years, the International Print Exhibition has stood for the very best photography that the world has to offer and it is exciting that we are now able to share the exhibition with photographic enthusiasts in the Ukraine for the first time, thanks to the support of the British Council.” Professor Ralph Jacobson ASIS Hon. FRPS, President of the Royal Photographic Society. Later this year, The Royal Photographic Society will be celebrating 150 years of staging The International Print Exhibition with a Special Retrospective Exhibition that will tour the UK with the 150th International Print Exhibition.
