NewsPhotography exhibition at EcoVision 2007 : EcoVision 2007 is pleased to announce an exhibition of photographs from world-renowned conservation photographer, Robert Glen Ketchum. The Exhibit, a spectacular collection of photographs of Southwest Alaska and the Bristol Bay area, will run from April 17 through 19th in the Ronald Reagan International Center during EcoVision's three-day conference. Mr. Ketchum was named Audubon Magazine's top 100 people "who shaped the environmental movement of the 20th century." His photography and writing have focused public attention on complex issues of environmental politics, while at the same time helping to define contemporary color photography.

Ketchum is currently a Fellow of the International League of Conservation Photographers. He has been given the United Nations Outstanding Environmental Achievement Award, the Ansel Adams Award for Conservation Photography and the Robert O. Easton Award for Environmental Stewardship. He is a Lifetime Trustee of the Alaska Conservation Foundation, and served for 15 years as Curator of Photography for the National Parks Foundation. Ketchum has always felt compelled to use his imagery, exhibitions, lectures and issue-directed book publishing to address the political realities of habitat protection, natural resource management, and the preservation of wild lands, which he has done with extraordinary success. Ketchum employs his art to affect the passage of legislation and broaden public perception, while at the same time contributing to a body of fine print work and contemporary photography. EcoVision 2007 is the inaugural launch of a bi-partisan, international initiative to create a Global Environmental Information Infrastructure.
