KingstonFlash memory vending machine at airport Gatwick : Kingston Technology has partnered with specialist retailer, MyMemory Limited to unveil the industry’s first Flash memory vending machine at the North Terminal, Gatwick Airport. The joint venture will see Kingston Technology’s comprehensive range of Flash memory products including, SD cards, CompactFlash cards and DataTraveler USB drives sold via MyMemory vending machines in high-traffic public spaces across the UK. Ann Keefe, Director of Sales UK & Ireland at Kingston Technology believes that responding to customers needs has always been the key to Kingston’s success, “Our consumers are telling us they want greater storage capacity for their mobile phones, digital cameras and USB drives to store music, images, games, videos and personal data.” She continues, “They want instant access to SD cards and USB drives as they need them 24/7, so vending machines in public spaces was the most obvious solution. MyMemory’s unique memory selector will be integrated into all vending machines to give customers the confidence they are purchasing the correct memory card for their device. Karl Moss, Managing Director of MyMemory Limited believes, “As a longstanding partner of Kingston, we’re delighted to be providing the first vending machines to offer ‘Chip and PIN’ access to high value memory products.
