Epson photo awards : The Epson art photo award 2007/2008, year has become one of the most lucrative contests for young talent in the photographic arts. All classes, teams at academies, colleges and other educational centres worldwide are invited to participate by submitting their best images and concepts. Entries can be submitted from March 1, 2007 to January 31, 2008. Once again Art Colonge will exhibit the winning entries. Art Colonge, the traditional exhibition forum for the winning images and partner of the Epson art photo award, has rearranged its scheduling cycle from fall to spring. Consequently classes and project groups now have two semesters in which to submit their best works, from March 1, 2007 to January 31, 2008.

Photographic art contest
A selection of images by previous participants can be viewed at this year’s Art Colonge starting from April 18, 2007 in the Epson art photo award presentation area. Among the exhibited works by earlier contestants and winners are artists like Julian Faulhaber who has become one of the most successful “discoveries” of the last few years and now enjoys international recognition. More than 100 photo classes from 19 countries competed in Epson art photo award 2006 for top honours - and the class lead by Prof. Jörg Sasse from the University of Dusiburg-Essen’s faculty for art and design in the field of communication design was victorious.
