The Nec widescreen display is certified with Windows Vista Premium and features High Bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) that allows the support of the latest HDCP-equipped devices and encrypted content. In addition to featuring thin bezels suitable for multiple-monitor configurations, the MultiSync LCD2470WNX monitor’s industrial design incorporates a unique 4-way ergonomic stand that allows users to quickly and easily adjust the display height, tilt swivel and orientation (from landscape to portrait) to suit their particular preferences, applications or environments. Conforming with the VESA-mounting specification, the MultiSync LCD2470WNX also can be detached from the stand for arm or wall mounting.

NEC MultiSync LCD2470WNX
“Not only does the MultiSync LCD2470WNX deliver the superior features that technology users have come to expect from NEC, but its cost of ownership is among the lowest in its class, thanks to its corporate and environmentally friendly design,” said Lynn Gu, Product Manager for NEC Display Solutions. “Comprised of bio-based plastics and RoHS-compliant components, the new widescreen also features an energy-efficient construction that results in lower electricity costs and allows it to meet the EPA’s EnergyStar 4.0 standard.”

NEC NaViSet software
The LCD2470WNX monitor comes packed with advanced features such as, “No Touch Auto Adjust” and NaViKey 4-directional key for easy, hassle-free set up as well as a powered USB Hub that comes with four downstream ports for the easy and quick connection of USB peripherals. The display supports NEC’s exclusive NaViSet software, which offers an intuitive graphical user interface that allows users to adjust On Screen Manager (OSM) display settings via mouse and keyboard. This allows the user to set the monitor to a specific setting for color-critical programs and save settings to a file. The display also includes a 5-setting DV-Mode (Dynamic Video Mode), which optimizes the display’s settings with each application for correct adjustment to color-critical programs.
