 Canon DR-2050C document scanner : Canon U.S.A., Inc. has recently received three Editor’s Choice Awards for the company’s award-winning DR-Series Scanners in the 2006 Better Buys for Business Scan-to-File Guide. The Canon DR-2050C received the Editor’s Choice award for Economy Models. Canon DR 2050C Document Scanner - Speed
More businesses are looking to reduce their use of paper, and take advantage of the efficiencies offered by high-volume document scanning. In 2006 the Canon Image Filing Systems division recorded an increase in DR-Series Scanners sales of over 35%, compared to 2005. The Canon division also expects to see similar marketshare growth of its high-speed document scanners.
Canon DR2050C scanner - Duplex unit
The DR-2050C can scan letter-size documents in black-and-white or grayscale modes at speeds of up to 20 ppm simplex and 40 ipm duplex and 24-bit color at speeds up to 10 ppm simplex and 20 ipm duplex. The DR-2050C is bundled with Adobe Acrobat 7.0 (Standard) and OmniPage SE, along with text enhancement mode which can be used to make text easier to read if the background of the document is dark or the text is written lightly in pencil.
