LastoliteLastolite HiLite background : Photographers and their clients have opted for a contemporary look in portrait photography. By using simple white backgrounds, informal posing arrangements and unusual camera angles, photographers have been able to capture this desired effect, but it’s not always easy. At PMA 2007, Lastolite, renowned throughout the world for its vast array of photographic imaging solutions, will be showcasing its new HiLite background - the ultimate solution for photographers looking to enhance their portrait photography with backlit perfection. Photographers have found it hard to master the white background, specifically because of the fact that the surface must be lit separately from the subject to avoid shadows.

With the Lastolite HiLite illuminated background, photographers have a versatile and evenly lit surface that will give them the ability to deliver images beyond their clients’ expectations. The unique design allows the HiLite to be backlit allowing the subject to stand as close as 16 inches to the background without casting a shadow. The fully collapsible background is self supporting and sets up in minutes making it easy to use and transport. An optional Super White Washable Vinyl train can be attached to either the long or short side of the HiLite for perfect head to toe shots. The HiLite is available in two sizes: 5ft x 7ft and 6ft x 7ft.
