 Pentax DS Mobile 600 scanner
The DS Mobile 600 scanner makes it a snap to immediately process and register any printed information. Lightweight but solidly designed in a compact format (22 x 36cm), the 24-bit color scanner offers 600dpi quality scans (up to 9600 dpi with software interpolation). The bundled software ensures high quality scanning and simplifies the management of documents and pictures. This digitalized information can be easily transmitted and exchanged via a standard USB connection.

Scanning is a simple two-step process - one push of the button and the program is loaded. When the button is pushed a second time, the scanning begins. The DS Mobile 600 supports a variety of scan formats with the ability for users to define a frequently used size as the default. This convenient feature instructs the scanner to automatically scan at a preferred size, unless the setting is altered. The scanner connects to PCs via a removable USB 2.0 interface cable to download data, consuming no more than 2.0W while scanning. The DS Mobile 600 is fully compatible with Windows Vista, XP, 2000, ME, 98SE, and MAC OS X 10.3 or higher.
DSmobile SCAN software
The DS Mobile 600 comes ready to start scanning, straight out of the box, with the powerful DSmobile SCAN software that allows scanned documents to be automatically saved as Adobe Acrobat format files. An updated version of PageManager Version 7 enables a user to scan and organize digitized files with the ability to view, edit, send and save files in many formats. The TWAIN driver can be applied to control and adjust all the details and settings of the scanner. Standard accessories include a durable bag and two photo-scanning sleeves.
