FujiFilmFujifilm Frontier Lite : Fujifilm USA, Inc. announced the availability of Fujifilm Frontier Lite, for dry retail photo lab operations. Frontier Lite will provide both new market entrants and traditional photofinishers an economical and customizable, chemical-free printing solution. Frontier Lite helps new photofinishers enter the market with a system that requires a lower capital investment and easy operation. Frontier Lite offers retailers a customizable solution that quickly produces high-quality prints. The convenience of this system makes Frontier Lite ideal for supermarkets, drugstores, consumer electronics stores, convenience stores, or anywhere photofinishing services can be offered.
Fujifilm Frontier LiteImage Intelligence color software
Frontier Lite incorporates Fujifilm’s acclaimed Image Intelligence color management software, which provides excellent Frontier-quality prints. Incorporating two Fujifilm ASK-2000 Thermal Photo Printers, it generates 4 x 6 inch prints in approximately 4 seconds and 8x10 prints in approximately 40 seconds, using the ASK-4000 Thermal Photo Printer. A wide variety of other print sizes are also available, using these same printers.

Fujifilm Frontier Lite
As an added benefit to retailers, Frontier Lite can integrate into a photofinisher’s existing system for prints in minutes, hours or days through connecting to Fujifilm’s GetPix Kiosk Solutions, Fujicolor Processing, and Fujifilm’s Get the Picture Online Service network. By combining print ordering terminals, Fujifilm’s thermal photo printers and Fujifilm’s online services, Frontier Lite is an affordable way to introduce or expand digital print services. Consumers can order prints through GetPix kiosk ordering stations and pick them up from an operator behind the lab counter, or order from a retailer online through Fujifilm’s consumer-facing Web site. This enables retailers to offer consumers the convenience of uploading, editing and ordering prints via a kiosk or online, while still providing the added customer service element of a lab operator who delivers the prints to the shopper in minutes, hours or days. In addition to handling the retail customer’s digital image orders for prints, Frontier Lite is fully integrated with a high-speed film scanning solution, the Frontier SP500 Scanner, as an option.

Fujifilm printer - GetPix kiosk
“We’ve found that new customers will start out with a GetPix kiosk, but as print volumes increase, they want to upgrade to a higher print volume system that easily connects to the GetPix terminals they already have,” said Thomas Curley, director of marketing for Lab Solutions, Imaging Division, Fujifilm USA “Frontier Lite is a good option because with minimal investment retailers can continue to offer a full range of lab services to their customers. In addition, retailers now have a chemical-free photofinishing solution for print orders that is easy to maintain and offers the quality and convenience of printing at retail that their customers demand.”

Fujifilm Frontier Lite - Features
