 Canon Australia launches Production Solutions Group : With a new generation of digital printers becoming available to augment the features of offset devices, there's little argument that digital printing is the way of the future. For short print runs and custom applications digital devices are opening up new avenues and revenue streams for professional print operators. In recognition of the shift in professional and on-demand print technologies, Canon has created a new DPSG responsible for Canon's high end Digital Production product range in Australia to service the needs of this unique and growing segment. The group will be led by Christophe Lambert and supported by Mitchell Filby, Linda Coffey and Sumitta Jayaratne.

Canon wanted to show its commitment to this emerging segment by creating a dedicated business group to focus on the sale and support of these products", said Linda Coffey, National Marketing Manager, DPSG. Canon will be launching the DPSG at events in Melbourne and Sydney on the 22nd and 27th of February 2007, respectively.
