Ilford Micrographic film at CeBIT 2007 : Ilford, announces its presence at CeBIT, the world’s largest annual trade show for information and telecommunications technology. The company will showcase its Ilford Micrographic film, a unique archival recording film capable of storing both optical and digital data for over 500 years, using the new long-term archiving standard. Safeguarding data digitally in the face of continuous technological progress requires even more effort and expense. Analogue safeguarding is one way to avoid such high archiving costs.
