SonySony Cybershot G1 : With the help of a posting at Engadget where you will find the pictures of a Sony brochure containing the upcoming Sony Cybershot digital cameras we bring you the news of a remarkable compact high tech stylish digital camera; the Sony Cybershot DSC-G1. Although the following information is not official we give it the benefit of the doubt. The brochure looks authentic and the information is just too interesting to pass by. The new Sony G1 camera incorporates a 6.0 effective Megapixels Super HAD CCD sensor and 3x optical zoom with 6x Precision Digital zoom. So far so good, but the following features makes it suddenly a very interesting camera; extra large LCD, 2GB internal memory and Wi-Fi technology on board!

The Sony Cybershot G1 camera has a stylish design with round shaped corners. The Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar zoom lens has a focal range of 3x and its range can be expanded by the use of the 6x Precision Digital zoom. The Sony G1 features a double anti-blur technology; Super Steady Shot and a High Sensitivity up to ISO 1000. The back of the camera offers something really special; an Xtra Fine LCD display. It is not sure whether the size of the LCD is 3-inch of an amazing 3.5-inch; the brochure claims both formats.

As the information on the brochure shows the introduction of the Sony Cybershot G1 should already been done last January. However, for some reason the date of introduction is changed and will probably take place by the end of last February 2007. With the PMA 2007 coming up it seems we have here one of the PMA 2007 top models that will be showcased by Sony during this event.
