LG ElectronicsLG Chocolate Platinum edition : LG Mobile, has announced the launch of a luxury version of its award-winning Chocolate phone. LG Chocolate Platinum (model name LG KE800) brings even greater functionality to the Chocolate range of handsets as well as superb new styling. Keeping the now famous glowing red touch keypad, the handset is enhanced by a Platinum band bearing the Chocolate legend and a gentle update of the classic LG Chocolate styling. LG Chocolate Platinum is sure to be a popular addition to the Chocolate range of handsets. The original phone - launched in Europe in May 2006 - has sold over three million handsets globally, firmly establishing it as one of THE iconic mobile phone handsets of all time.

On board, functionality has been massively increased. LG Chocolate Platinum has an SD card memory slot, an upgraded 2 mega-pixel camera an FM radio and twice as much on-board memory as the original Chocolate handset (256MB rather than 128MB). It also has an upgraded class-leading MP3, MPEG-4 and AAC music and video player and stereo Bluetooth functionality that allows users to enjoy their favourite music in best quality via a wireless Bluetooth headset.

To compliment the handset’s impressive playback capabilities, which also includes a real 5-band graphic equalizer to adjust tones, users can search through their music using voice activated commands as well as a keyword search function - ideal for music on the move.
