Oscar winners produced on Kodak motion picture film : Whichever film prevails in the Best Picture category at the 2007 Academy Awards, Eastman Kodak Company will keep a remarkable streak alive. For 79 consecutive years, tracing back to the first Oscar presentations in 1928, the Best Picture winners have all been produced on Kodak motion picture film. That tradition continues in 2007, as all five features vying for an Academy Award in the Best Picture category were produced on Kodak film. The nominees are Babel, The Departed, Letters from Iwo Jima, Little Miss Sunshine and the Queen. All of the films nominated for the 2007 Oscar for Achievement in Cinematography were also produced on Kodak motion picture film.
