KodakKodak Inkjet Printers using SigmaTel Technology : With the launch of Eastman Kodak Company’s three new All-in-One inkjet printers, the company unveiled its partnership with SigmaTel, Inc. to use its mixed signal system on chip. SigmaTel’s inkjet printer controller has been deployed in the Kodak EasyShare 5100, 5300 and Kodak 5500 AiO Printer models. “SigmaTel’s silicon-based solution allowed us to deliver a new printer to market in record time,” Susan Tousi, director of R&D. “The SigmaTel technology enabled us to focus our resources on optimizing Kodak intellectual property and product design. Our new line of printers delivers affordable documents and Kodak lab-quality photos, saving consumers 50 percent on everything they print.”
