Yellow to Me - Share your passion
The "Yellow to Me" Photo Contest 2006 aims to bring people around the world to share the passion for life and beauty that are at the heart of the digital imaging experience. The theme of this year’s contest is "Yellow to Me - Share your passion." The contest recruits photos which describe people’s feelings or emotions that have been inspired by the color "Yellow."
Photo contest winners 2006
We would like to express our appreciation for many entries of photographs expressing "Passion" this time including powerful and emotional ones, those depicting deep consciousness, as well as those capturing dynamism. Through those photographs, we could share various expressions of "Passion" with entrants. The following ten entrants were selected as the winners of the "Yellow to Me" Photo Contest 2006 by the panel of judges led by Mr. Quentin Tang, Creative Director of the National Geographic Channel Asia, and Mr. Timon Wehrli, Photographer of National Geographic Channel.
Message from the National Geographic Channel Asia
This is the second annual "Yellow to Me" Photo Contest and we would like to thank the participants for their continual support. In the thousands of entries that we received, we saw many wonderful stories of passions, which illustrated so vividly the photographers' affections towards the people or surroundings that they had encountered. And through the color yellow, all of these photos conveyed a warmth and vibrancy that is synonymous with our Asian cultures. National Geographic Channel Asia will continue to create platforms for the creative minds to showcase their talents. We invite our audiences to re-think the way they see the lives around them and to share their visions and passions with the world.
