Samsung OfficeServ 7400 receives award : The OfficeServ 7400 from Samsung has received a 2006 Product of the Year Award from Technology Marketing Customer Inter@ction Solutions magazine. Customer Interaction Solutions has been the leading publication covering CRM, call centers and teleservices since 1982. “It’s time the power of IP convergence was in the hands of those businesses that can really benefit from it,” said Samsung Business Director Ann Irwin. “Those medium-sized businesses, the 500 lines and under crowd, have special needs that only convergence can address. At Samsung BCS, our mission is to bring convergence to them, and we are pleased that Customer Inter@ction Solutions sees and recognizes that commitment.”

Samsung OfficeServ 7400
The OfficeServ 7400 converged platform offers businesses the ability to maintain the true convergence of wireless, wireline, analog voice, VoIP and advanced data capabilities on a single platform. The OfficeServ 7400 is a unique enterprise-class system that offers high port capacity, a gigabit Ethernet backbone using the GWIMT router, GPSIMT layer 3 switch and 64-channel MGI cards that enable larger VoIP applications and support for up to 500 users. A key differentiator for the OfficeServ 7400 is that it can be configured based on the customer’s specific need - IP devices only, IP and TDM, TDM only, wireless, or as a 100 percent data only server - giving it a very unique position in the market.
