"Photography gives us the chance to relive our memories, and the best way to do that is with the final product, which is the print," said Boyajian, who has been the official Miss America photographer for 30 years. "The Epson Stylus Photo R1800 printer enables me to give the contestants the highest-quality prints quickly and conveniently that each contestant will treasure for the rest of their lives. That's why Epson has consistently been my printer of choice not only for this event but all my photographic needs."

"Epson's advances in print permanence have been designed to keep important memories from fading," said Patrick Chen, product manager, Professional Imaging, Epson. "We know that the prints can't just look good today but also must look good for generations to come, so we are pleased to have our technology used for inspiring events like the Miss America Pageant where the memories and the photos are so vitally important."

The Epson Stylus Photo R1800 is designed for professional and advanced amateur photographers seeking the best image and archival quality as well as flexibility for both glossy and matte photos up to 13 inches wide. Taking advantage of Epson's Advanced MicroPiezo ink jet technology to achieve ink droplets as small as 1.5-picoliters and resolutions up to 5760 x 1440 optimized dpi, it offers digital artists a wide selection of photo printing features, extremely fast print speeds and a high level of enduring image quality that resists fading up to 200 years.
