ArcSoft Magic-i 3for Windows Vista : ArcSoft, announced that ArcSoft Magic-i 3 has been designated as Certified for Windows Vista by Microsoft. Magic-i is a powerful webcam application designed to extend the video chat experience. It provides real-time video effects, for both live webcam footage and streaming multimedia files. The Vista certification process involves rigorous in-house testing of the test results at Microsoft labs. “Between streaming video to multiple applications at once and streaming multimedia files right through the video chat session, Magic-i is a terrific application for enhancing video chat in fun and exciting ways,” said Michael Downs, ArcSoft Vice President of Marketing and Business Development.

Many other ArcSoft desktop software titles are compatible with Windows Vista and are at various stages in the Vista certification process. ArcSoft WebCam Companion, another application in ArcSoft’s suite of webcam solutions, achieved Certified for Windows Vista status last week. Magic-i is available for OEM bundling, or for retail purchase for US$29.99.
