Olympus Olympus Mju 760 Digital : The Olympus Mju 760 lets photographers express their individuality in style while capturing life’s unforgettable moments. Available in a choice of three eye-catching colours, its sleek, weatherproof body accepts no limits and packs 7.1 Megapixels, enabling beautiful, detailed pictures - no matter if rain or shine. This 3x zoom camera also integrates Dual Image Stabilization. Blur due to camera shake is therefore significantly reduced, ensuring that photographers will easily be able to record those special moments when fast, spontaneous action is required to capture the shot. And with its slim-line metal body, the Mju 760 slips easily into any pocket so that it is sure to be taken along everywhere.

Smartly designed and sporting colours that include Light Silver, Dark Blue and Ruby Red, the Olympus Mju 760 radiates individual style that grabs attention. While the compact dimensions and elegant contours of its weatherproof metal body make it a pleasure to have and hold, its performance attributes ensure excellent photo results. A precision 3x optical zoom (37-111mm on a 35mm camera, 1:3.4-5.7) gives photographers the flexibility they need to bring subjects in close and a resolution of 7.1 Megapixels ensures plenty of detail-capturing power. In addition, the integration of Dual Image Stabilization takes a double-barrelled approach to defend against unwanted blur through the combination of a mechanical image stabiliser and high ISO values.

Olympus Mju 760 Digital - 6.4cm LCD
Incorporation of BrightCapture Technology guarantees the capture of great atmospheric shots, even in situations where there is only little light available. The Mju 780 Digital camera features special scene modes that increase the ISO value to 1600 - so the flash needs to be used less often - while retaining full 7.1 Megapixel image quality. This technology is also applied in the movie mode to considerably extend the opportunities for capturing the magic of movement at night. Furthermore, BrightCapture Technology makes it a breeze to frame shots on the large 6.4cm LCD with 230,000 pixels, as views are around four times brighter than on a standard LCD.

Olympus Mju 760 Digital camera - Scene modes
The µ 760 matches its versatility and good looks with ease of use. This ergonomically-formed camera offers a choice of 23 scene modes that cover many common shooting situations including Candle, Sports and three Underwater modes. Users are therefore primed to take perfect shots with a minimum of fuss and effort. Ensuring easy operability for just about anyone, an amazing 25 languages are on board. And featuring both internal memory plus an xD-Picture Card slot, the Olympus Mju 760 digital camera offers plenty of flexibility for the storage of images and movies.

Olympus Mju 760 camera & Underwater case PT-036 - Availability
Significantly enhancing the camera’s weatherproof attributes, an Underwater Case is optionally available. It lets the fun of photography continue under the water’s surface - up to 40m below, in fact! A versatile and attractive addition to the Mju family, the metal-bodied Mju 760 is available in a choice of three colours. The head-turning, must-have model combines an exquisite slim-line design with advanced, easy-to-use technology and will be available from March 2007.

Olympus BrightCapture technology
The BirghtCapture Technology is developed for better shooting results in low light situations. It works in two ways: 1. All available pixel information from the image sensor is used to provide a view on the LCD that’s up to four times brighter than conventional types, to make framing easy even in dark surroundings. 2. In certain shooting modes sensitivity is increased (resolution is sometimes reduced), which results in well-exposed images with accurate colour reproduction, high contrast and definition, even when not using the flash. Scene modes that benefit from BrightCapture Technology include Candle, Night Scene and Available Light.

Olympus Dual Image Stabilization
Providing two-fold protection, the Dual Image Stabilization function helps to avoid image blur caused by camera shake or fast-moving subjects. It combines high ISO values with a CCD-based mechanical image stabiliser, where a built-in gyro sensor detects camera movement and adjusts the CCD accordingly.

Olympus Guide Function
The general purpose and recommended use of the various camera modes and menu options are briefly explained directly on the LCD via the Guide Function. This makes shooting easier and means users will rarely need to consult the manual - a real benefit for photographers when on the go, as well as those looking for a short theoretical briefing without having to carry or consult guidebooks.
