 Kubota software - Hot One Award
This year, more than 125 companies competed in just shy of 50 product categories. There were well over 200 total products entered in the contest. The awards were open to new or significantly revised products released between August 5, 2005 and December 31, 2006. “I am honored to have these two software products selected for Hot One awards by Professional Photographer magazine,” said Kevin Kubota. “Being able to share my knowledge, in the form of these as well as my many other Photoshop Actions that can empower other professional photographers to take their images to the next level, is part of my passion.”
Artistic Tools Volume Two - Adobe Photoshop
Artistic Tools Volume Two is a set of image enhancement software Actions for Adobe Photoshop created by Kevin Kubota. After the highly-acclaimed introduction of Artistic Tools Volume One two years ago, the release of a second set of over 50 Actions has been very well received in the professional photography community. Also available as of November 2006 are the new Artistic Tools Volume Three featuring another 50 new image enhancing Actions.
About AutoAlbum - Wedding photography
AutoAlbum Volume Two is more than just another set of static page templates. Magazine-style albums are the hottest thing in wedding photography since digital cameras. Clients love them, but they are inherently time consuming to lay out and look best with professional graphic design. This unique set of Photoshop actions builds the pages for users automatically. Users prepare their standard image and save it as a .tif, .jpg, or Photoshop file. They then tell the software which image they want to place in the numbered layout location, and click play--the software grabs the images, sizes them perfectly, applies any special enhancements, and completes the page. The next step is to just send it to a lab for printing--that's it! AutoAlbum Volume Two includes 450 single page layouts and 43 panoramic layouts for an almost unlimited combination of finished album designs!

Kevin Kubota’s Artistic Tool Volume Two has won the Image Editing Plug-in category and AutoAlbum Volume Two has won the Album Design category. The Professional Photographer Hot One Awards honor the photography industry's best new products for professional application. The mission of the awards is to provide Photographer magazine's readership with a compendium of the most innovative products available. Each year, Professional Photographer editors oversee a submission and judging process that calls on companies in all subfields of the photography industry.
